The disposal of sunflower husks has always been a "headache" for oil mills, during storage it can easily ignite, smolder, and spread unpleasant odors. A small part of the husk is used as fertilizers for loosening the soil. TPC Altai was no exception and also faced this problem. An invaluable property of husk is the high calorific value during combustion. This property was the reason to establish the production of fuel briquettes and pellets (pellets). As a result of granulation, the initial volume is compressed by 10 times and the humidity is reduced to 10%.

Using fuel pellets in conventional solid fuel boilers is not only possible, but also very convenient and profitable. In solid fuel boilers with a grate system, it is only necessary to reduce the size of the grate slots so that the pellets do not fall into the ash pan. This can be done in several ways: by replacing the grate, applying a wire mesh on top or under the grate, inserting linings into the cracks of the grate, etc.

CRUSHER

Grinding of raw materials in a crusher to a fine fraction.

STORAGE BIN

Receipt of the fraction into the storage hopper.

MIXER-CONDITIONER

The flow from the storage hopper enters the mixer-conditioner, where the raw materials are moistened.

GRANULATOR

After moistening, the mass enters the pressing chamber, where granules are formed at high temperature.

COOLING

The granules enter the cooling column, where they cool down and are sieved to separate the non-granulated part.

PACKING

The cooled pellets are delivered to the line, where they are packed in bags, big bags using a weighing dispenser or sent to a storage bin.

PELLETS

Sunflower husk fuel pellets
are becoming an increasingly popular product on the world market. We produce pellets with a diameter of 6 and 8 mm and a length of 20-40 mm. Packaging is made in big bags with a polyethylene liner, which allows you to achieve excellent results in the safety of products during transportation by various modes of transport, with a size of 100x100x185 cm. The weight of the big bag can be different, depending on the filling, based on the bulk density - 610 kg/m3

NESTRO TYPE BRIQUETTES

Fuel briquettes of the Nestro type are made of cylindrical shape using a hydraulic press. Our briquettes have a diameter of 60 mm and a length of 170 mm, packed in 20 pieces in shrink wrap and stacked on pallets of 90 packages. The size of the pallet is 120x80x125 cm with a gross weight of 1060 kg. The production technology allows, at the request of the customer, to produce briquettes of any length from 100 to 200 mm

PINI KAY TYPE BRIQUETTES

Fuel briquettes of the Pini Kay type are manufactured using a screw press and are subjected to additional heat treatment of the surface. The technological hole in the briquette allows these briquettes to burn more intensively with less thrust. The size of the briquette is 60x60x200mm, a package of shrink wrap of 20 pcs. The size of the pallet is 120x80x145 cm, and the gross weight is 985 kg. As in the case of the Nestro braces, the length of the Pini Kay briquettes can be different.

- Calorific value of 19000 kJ per kilogram of products, which is higher than that of ordinary wood and comparable to individual brands of coal.
- 2 tons of sunflower pellets allow you to get the same amount of energy as when using 3.2 tons of firewood, 1000 m3 of gas, 1370 liters of fuel oil.
- low ash content – no more than 5% of the total mass of fuel, comparable to the performance of wood pellets from some species of deciduous trees, which makes pellets incredibly effective, besides, you do not need to clean the boiler often.
- low level of environmental pollution, practically no emissions of carbon monoxide and other negative substances
- no tendency to spontaneous combustion,
